Born in 1950 to the Big Easy City New Orleans, Louisiana Alfred "Bayou Butch" Lucas Jr
An
historic musician with a trademark sound inherited from the soul of old 'School Funk, R&B with a touch of The Blues'.
This second cousin of Baton Rouge, Louisiana known simply as "Bayou Butch" began his journey at age 14 with the
formation of an uplifting bass band named "The 13th Amendments". As the years passed down the road, Butch refined his unique sound while performing on
tour with Al Green, then Aretha Franklin and
a host of other Legendary Artist. Butch is truly a survivor with a multi-talented style that will take you back in time with
the sound from his Fender Guitar "old Blue", Gran’ Piano & Inhale’able Vocals. Truly "Living the Dream"...his Step-Grandchildren
are Hollywood Records & Disneys' Jonas Brothers. Butch has shared and enjoyed further success with being included in many concert
performances with the boys. Even more excitement follows with the release of his New CD/DVD
titled "Come on Over". This project was history in the making
with Butch performing 99.9% of Vocals + 100% of the Instruments.
An amazing artist whose music
will provide you with a collectable blend of Original old' School Funk and favorite Re-mix Hits that are "Guaranteed to Sooth the Soul". This collection is a must CD!
